Tactical Civics Seminar Held in Easton

Jon Ellis gave a seminar explaining Tactical Civics at a home in Easton, Maine on May 1 in front of a dozen concerned citizens.  He promoted David Zuniga's book, "The Great We-Set" which is a good primer on how our system of government was originally formed to hold elected servants accountable and how far off track it has become.

EASTON, Maine—Jon Ellis, from Patten, is the Maine State Coordinator for the national Tactical Civics organization. He gave a seminar about the organization's mission statement and goals in Easton last week in front of about a dozen concerned citizens.

Tactical Civics is a strategy devised by David Zuniga which seeks to teach the people how to once again assert their power over government, the way the founders intended, by re-establishing real Constitutional grand juries and militias. The goal is to use these two tools to peacefully hold elected public servants such as legislators, senators, governors and local town council members accountable to the Constitution they all swore an oath to uphold by lawfully removing them from office when they violate that oath.

Tactical Civics is not affiliated with any political party; and elected leaders who currently hold public office are not allowed to become members because they belong to the organizations that are causing the problems to begin with. “The Democrats and Republicans, they just divide us,” said Ellis, “instead of us putting our feet to the ground and doing something.”

At this point, Tactical Civics is open to interested members of the public who want to learn how our system of government was originally designed to work to benefit the people and keep the power of our public servants in check. Unfortunately, that information has not been taught in government-run schools for decades in order to keep the citizenry dumbed down, docile and easy to control and manipulate by what has turned out to be some of the dumbest, most malevolent and ideologically blinded people on the planet - people who got into office merely by winning the popularity contest on election day.

These people, once elected, then swear an oath to uphold the constitution but few rarely follow through with that oath. The goal of Tactical Civics is to enforce the Constitution and re-assert the tools we were given by that document to remove those violators from public office via a peaceful and lawful process centered around a Grand Jury.

The vast majority of the public has been asleep to the political wreckage brought upon us by uneducated, disingenuous and ignorant politicians over the years. Tactical Civics is a program designed to wake people up to their true power and authority over government to enable them to control what are essentially their employees in government.

“I don't fault people for being asleep. I was asleep up until 2020,” said Ellis. “But, what does it take for people to wake up? Everybody around here knows there's a problem. If we're not willing to stick our neck out there, we're complicit, we're part of the problem and we want to be part of the solution.”

“I think the biggest thing is to realize we've been lied to for so long that we need to do something. Tactical Civics is the only solution I've seen that's peaceful. They [the controllers of our government] want to have civil war, they want to try to take our guns away. That's the last thing we want at this point. It goes back to God and enforcing the Constitution. It's not impossible, it just takes people to rise up. If we're going to save our country and bring it back to its Constitutional roots, nobody's going to do it for us.”

“The things that we've read, it just blows my mind,” Ellis' wife, Sue added. “We think how could my parents have not known. We were never taught; and we were never taught on purpose. We were taught just enough so that we knew the language, we knew the jargon. But, understand, a lot of what you were taught is a lie.”

While many patriots look to President Trump's re-election as the means to bring government back under control of the people, Jon points out that Trump is not the solution. “Trump is not our solution. Is he a road bump? Absolutely. But, I'm afraid if he does come back, people are going to become complacent and sit on their haunches.”

Sue further explained, “If Trump comes back in, it would be phenomenal and he would be favorable to what we're trying to do and it would be a lot easier to do the things we want to do. But we'd still only have Trump for four years and we're back into that situation again. We need an actual plan. We may not see it come to fruition in our lifetime, but we can educate our children and maybe our grandchildren so we don't fall into this loop again. Tactical Civics has a wonderful training center where all this information is.”

Tactical Civics membership across the U.S. has grown from 1,000 members in the summer of 2023 to 8,000 members in Spring, 2024. “We're growing astronomically right now and I think people are thinking Trump's going to come back and save us,” Jon explained. “Whether they allow him back in, or not, doesn't matter. We the People are the only ones who are going to save us.”

Sue then described the crux of the problem, “[Our government] used to be by the people, for the people. But the people chose not to show up.”

Jon hosts a Tactical Civics Zoom meet-up every Tuesday evening at 6pm at zoomtcmaine.com. For more information, visit Tacticalcivics.com or contact Jon Ellis via phone, (207) 694-1724 or Email:
