Miss Fort Fairfield Pageant Crowns Three New Queens for 2024

FORT FAIRFIELD, Maine - Three new queens were crowned at the 2024 Little, Junior & Miss Fort Fairfield pageant on Saturday, May 18. This year, the Little Miss division became a part of the Jr. and Miss pageant due to former Little Miss director, Penny Johnston retiring from the pageant scene.

There were five contestants in the Little Miss division. Aubrey McLaughlin was crowned Little Miss Fort Fairfield. She is the daughter of James and Amanda McLaughlin and performed a dance routine to Can’t Stop the Feeling.

First Runner-up for Little Miss was Eva Willette, who performed a monologue entitled, “Can’t Sleep.” Eva is the daughter of Shawn and Kristy Willette. Eva also received recognition for High Ticket Sales.

Also competing for Little Miss was Peyton Ayer, daughter of Thomas and Ashley Ayer; Zoey Milliard, daughter of Andrew Milliard & Desiraie Rediker; and Emma Fisher, daughter of Barrett & Rachel Fisher. Emma was voted Miss Congeniality by the contestants from all three divisions.

There were six contestants in the Jr. Miss division, which was won by Lainey Rochford. Lainey is the daughter of Matthew & Keiza Rochford and performed a ballet routine to You Can’t Stop the Girl.

Madlyn Kinney was First Runner-up in the Jr. Miss division. Madlyn is the daughter of Ryan and Christina Kinney. She performed a dance routine to Better When I’m Dancing.

Also competing in the Jr. Miss category were Katlyn Kinney, daughter of Ryan & Christina Kinney; Josie Adams, daughter of Kirk & Julie Adams; Cheyenne Dominguez, daughter of Michael Osgood and Brooke Austin; and Addie Levesque, daughter of Jason & Angela Levesque.

There were only two contestants in the Miss category. Brianna Osterblom was crowned Miss Fort Fairfield 2024. Brianna is the daughter of David and Brandy Osterblom. She performed a self-composed monologue entitled, “Stay off the Road.”

Sophie LeBlanc was First Runner-up for Miss Fort Fairfield. She is the daughter of Richard and Christy LeBlanc and performed a vocal selection to How Does a Moment Last Forever.

The pageant committee for this year’s pageant was composed of Director, Melissa Libby; Brandy Osterblom, Gem Babin, Sarah Crouse, Skye Strid, Emilee Lathrop and Amber Helstrom.

Sponsors for the pageant were: R&J Market, Hillside IGA, One of a Kind, Greenlaw Electric, Fields Realty, I-Care Pharmacy, The County Federal Credit Union, Giberson-Dorsey Funeral Home, Rebecca’s Lodge, United Insurance, Bob’s Service & Repair and Caldwell’s Auto Sales.
